Kate is a highly experienced hand therapist who qualified as an occupational therapist in 2004 and now works in an acute NHS hand trauma unit. She completed an MSc in Hand Therapy in 2016 and is an accredited Hand Therapist. 

Kate’s daily practice includes treating clients with complex hand and upper limb conditions, including assessing their functional capacity and identifying treatment modalities to promote recovery and functional independence. The types of conditions she treats includes:

• Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome

• Tendon and ligament repairs

• Nerve entrapments

• Amputations

• Joint contractures

• Crush injuries

Kate is committed to maintaining and developing her clinical skills. She is a member of the British Association of Hand Therapy and is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council.
